About We Before Me

The We Before Me Foundation provides youth hockey training, development, and advocacy for children and youth from diverse backgrounds in the Greater Hartford region who would not otherwise have the resources or access to participate in the sport.

We envision youth hockey leagues in Connecticut and beyond that properly reflect the diverse ethnic and cultural demographics in their home communities.

Our purpose is to make the sport of youth hockey more equitable and accessible so that all interested players, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, and/or economic status, can experience the physical, emotional, and community-building benefits of learning to play hockey.
